Sick as a dog....

 I have been sick for the last three days... the flu I reckon, there was vomiting, sweats, chills, general nausea, in essence it sucked majorly. I am still sick but am I on the mend. No more foggy head, nausea and puking. I just have a sore throat due to a nagging phlegmy cough.

Samhain is almost here. I hope that your Samhain/Hallowe'en is good. Don't eat too much candy... Also, I think I will get my Christmas shopping done. I will get well first and then, I will buy a $200 gift visa and go on Amazon. My OCD won't let me wait any longer. I'm sure suikazura knows what I mean... I absolutely hate waiting til the last moment. It freaks me out.

I know what I'm getting everyone. I just have to shop for Bees and Julz. I intend to get also Bees' birthday. Also, I am ordering Popeyes from Skip, for Bees birthday, and I need to save up $40 for Bees's cake. (Her bday is November 20th)

But first I need to shake this flu bug.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick - but glad that you're starting to feel better.

Trinity texted me this morning that she has covid symptoms but refuses to test because she doesn't think she has it :facepalm: So I'll be dropping Uriah off at the door after school. DH has surgery tomorrow, so I can't afford for us to get sick.

I've been freaking out about what to get everyone for Christmas too.

Good luck with DH's surgery. I know, being sick sucks tbh. Luckily I have got my shopping lined up. Now I need to pay for the whole shebang.

We buy Christmas gifts for just the kids in our family.
This year I think I am just going to get everybody gift cards from Barnes & Noble.
I doubt most of them do much if any reading, but maybe they will actually get a book and read it. :o
