Which I invariably find myself in... sitting wise. I'm playing the Sims 3 and Monte Vista is gorgeous. If I was a sim, I would def live in either Riverview (?) or Monte Vista. I cannot wait to get Violet. I have been hearing a lot of rumors on Reddit, some good and some bad. I am quite positive that Violet will be a good game. And Animal Crossing too. But the thing is, I want to get Violet and Shield this month, and LGE and AC:NH next month. Shield has to be one of my favorite games... ever. I love Crystal, Emerald, and Shield. Those are my three faves in order. BTW... maybe Remy will know this? Or Churi??? Or Lyssa??? What region is the new games based on? Like for example Sw/Sh was based on England... so what region is it now???

I bought Julz a nice necklace, two actually, and I bought Babycakes a necklace, again two - one is of a heart with pavel, and the other is a jeweled star sign one. (Pisces for Julie and Scorpio for Babycakes)
Um... and the New Years celebration will consist of Swiss Chalet takeout. :-) Not as fancy as last year but maybe I can get some de-alcoholised beer? I don't drink usually, but I do like beer and Jack n coke.... and vodka. LOL!!! Just for special occasions, getting shit-faced is not one of my priorities this NYE. Celebrating with Babycakes and Julie and Maman yes.

Dec. 18th, 2022 06:45 am It's now almost seven am, and the sun hasn't risen yet. It's still very dark out. And quiet. This is the time of day I like, when no one is up yet, and the house is hushed, no activity save for Lucy W trying to move shit around or like a mouse, trying to sniff out food. She's a sly one that Mrs. Wong. :-(

Dec. 16th, 2022 05:53 am I woke an hour ago. It's still dark and quiet out... the winds are gusting, snow is blowing and I am getting hungry and I could use another hour or two of sleep.
Today is Friday, so, if Liz can make it, good, if not, well, no skin off my nose. She came yesterday, so, perhaps she will today? Today is fish & chip night here... but we are having chili instead. I love chili... esp when made with ground chicken meat? Oh yeah! Yum!!

A Switch for the holidays...
Dec. 15th, 2022 04:02 pm It is a yellow switch lite and I love it. I have figured some crap out, I am going to buy a $200 visa (as I usually do) and get Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and also Pokémon Violet. I will get Shield, LGE, and Diamond and Snap in the new year (Shield and Lets Go Eevee in February, Diamond and Snap in March)
I can't wait to play Violet! My starter will be Sprigatito, as most of my starters in the past have been of the grass type, with exception of Scorbunny and Piplup. I am going to buy them digitally so I don't have the heartache of losing a cartridge which sadly I am wont to do.
I FUCKING CAN'T WAIT my babes. Seriously. And that legendary? The basilisk sort of creature? Hell yes. Exciting! And of course, I'll put it in a book in my GNJ account just entitled 'Gaming' or something like that.
In other news, our Xmas party that we were supposed to go to today, got cancelled bc of inclement weather... it is seriously looking like crap out there. Like really!!
On NYE day, Julz and Babycakes and I are going to the Davis Diner for lunch... and then buy snacks and drinks for later. That's our NYE plans. Simple and just right for us. And of course I'll have the CTV app broadcasting the countdown if they do...

Dec. 13th, 2022 05:52 pm We had burgers and chips for supper... yum! I am invited to a party on Thursday, but my high anxiety isn't helping.. I hope I don't have a panic attack.... or a couple. I am a friendly sort but I am a bit shy around loads of people, most of might or not have COVID. I hope that there aren't too many people there or I will have a meltdown.
Plus, there is a monster storm headed our way the same day. So, and we will be crammed into van taxis and some of us without seatbelts.... so, yes, I am pushing the big fat red panic button. I might listen to some Nirvana to settle my nerves. That's one thing about me that most people don't know... Nirvana calms me. Kurt Cobain relieves my stress... I was devastated when he died.
I will play some Nirvana before I leave. :-/ Hopefully that will help. I feel like listening to them now...

It's a yellow one (bonus!) and it's got a massive memory card in it (double bonus!) and it has a protector on it (triple bonus?) Next month, I am going to build up my library of games, starting with Pokemon Shield and Violet, and Let's Go Eevee... LOL!! I remember Julie playing LGE, and catching a shitton of rattatas. I'm like, nooo... just one will do, holy crap!!! Oy vey. Speaking of Ms. Julie, I will put a profile on my Switch for her in case she wants to hunt 'mons with me. So, and maybe Diamond. Not Pearl bc I hated Palkia... soooo... nope. Ha!

It is an intriguing horror. I believe Rotten Tomatoes gave it a %79 and I give it at least 4 out of 5 stars only because it is so fucking complicated. I don't understand it but I love it. I watched it from yesterday to this morning. I love this song from it. It is just one of those movies that make you go "Hmm..."

Dec. 11th, 2022 06:20 pm Today was spent fixing up Lyric (my computer) because she was lagging badly and she was throwing the Blue Screen of Death randomly, so, I just reset the computer and I have to be careful of what I put on Lyric. I don't know about re-installing the Sims 4. I didn't play it that much anyways... so... maybe not?
I intend to start writing fic, but what kind of fic to write...? Harry Potter? The X-Files? Something original?? I have writers block a bit. I need to start just writing drabbles. Eh...
I have to find a good word processor. WBS is nice, Libre, meh... and Office... well... we shall see.

Right now I'm listening to Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" and trying to stay alert for Foreigner on the radio bc my maman wants tickets to their concert. :-) And I plan on help her out. I am going to listen to the radio at lunch... and if they play something like that, I am going to alert Maman. :-)

Dec. 8th, 2022 03:51 amI am no Picasso, but I do have some artistic abilities. It's simple and very nice. Last night's Heartfulness group was simply amazing. I took this away from it. If you think positive thoughts, then positive stuff will happen, but, if you think negatively, well... you get the idea. SO BE POSITIVE! :-)
Right now I think I'm going to go back to sleep as it is much too early ... however, Julie is getting Tim's for us today and I'm getting two diet pops, and a Timmy's snackable pastry. It is like unsweetened choux pastry with either garlic n herb filling or jalapeno type filling. They are really good and delicious. So, maybe I will stay up? I will listen to this over and over bc I love this type of music.

I can't wait, I got my mattress cover from Wayfair today. It's nice, and Maman is going to help me with it.

Dave relegated the eggs to the weekend. It sucks but we do get something to look forward to non? I think, I will have my usual, butter and cinnamon on my oats. It may sound gross, but it isn't.
